What your days might look like

With the expansion of the Employment Hero business, we are now looking to hire our first ever inhouse Red Team!

As a Security Penetration Tester at Employment Hero, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data. This isn’t just a job – it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, working with a high-performing team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, strengthen defences, and support our mission to build the world’s largest employment platform.

This role can be based remotely in Vietnam. Candidates should have full working rights in the country.

As our Security Penetration Tester, you will:

• Conduct Penetration Testing: Perform comprehensive penetration testing on web applications, networks, mobile platforms, and cloud environments.
• Simulate Cyberattacks: Execute real-world attack simulations, including vulnerability assessments, social engineering, and physical security evaluations.
• Identify Vulnerabilities: Proactively identify, analyse, and document security vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with IT teams, engineers, and management to implement security measures and close gaps.
• Stay Ahead of Threats: Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, attack techniques, and security tools.
• Deliver Detailed Reports: Prepare clear, concise reports that communicate findings, risks, and remediation plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in Security Exercises: Engage in red team exercises, security audits, and incident response simulations.
• Conduct Vulnerability Research: Focus on high-value applications or systems to identify potential risks.
• Develop Proof-of-Concept Exploits: Create demonstrations to show how vulnerabilities can be exploited.

You will bring:

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a penetration testing environment.
• Certifications: OSCP certification is a must, with other offensive security certifications (e.g., OSCE, GPEN) highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of offensive security tools such as Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, and Metasploit.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in identifying and documenting vulnerabilities.
• Continuous Learner: A strong desire to expand your knowledge in the field of information security.
