The Senior Scrum Master/Scrum Coach operates as a delivery enabler and transformation partner, supporting multiple teams and complex product environments.

Beyond facilitating Agile practices, this role is responsible for:

  • Optimizing end-to-end workflow and delivery predictability
  • Removing systemic bottlenecks across teams and departments
  • Enabling teams to operate effectively in a technology- and AI-enabled environment
  • Contributing to the evolution of Ways of Working across the organization

This role requires a shift from team-level facilitation to system-level impact.

1. Delivery Flow & Product Execution:

  • Guide Product Owners and teams in managing Product Backlogs in complex, multi-product environments
  • Support definition and alignment of Product Vision and Product Goals
  • Improve flow of work across teams (planning, execution, delivery)
  • Support roadmap clarity and delivery predictability
  • Actively monitor and improve: lead time, throughput, delivery reliability

2. Cross-Team Coordination & System Optimization:

  • Facilitate alignment across teams and departments
  • Identify and resolve inter-team dependencies and bottlenecks
  • Support coordination of large releases spanning multiple teams
  • Ensure transparency of risks, assumptions, and constraints
  • Shift focus from local optimization to system-wide performance

3. Agile Coaching & Team Enablement

  • Coach teams to become self-organized, outcome-driven, and continuously improving
  • Support adoption of Agile mindset and practices in a pragmatic way
  • Enable teams to:
    • Slice work effectively
    • Manage commitments realistically
    • Improve collaboration and feedback loops
  • Reduce reliance on manual facilitation by promoting team ownership

4. Evolving Ways of Working:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Ways of Working at team, program, and organizational levels
  • Support adoption of:
    • Modern delivery practices
    • Automation and AI-enabled workflows where relevant
  • Ensure that increased speed does not compromise: Engineering quality, Risk management, Sustainability

5. Coaching & Capability Development:

  • Mentor and support Junior Scrum Masters/Agile practitioners
  • Provide coaching beyond teams, including: Product Owners, Delivery leaders
  • Share best practices and contribute to internal capability buildingn.

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years working with multi-teams or large programs/products.
  • Advanced Scrum Master Certification (e.g., PSM II, A-CSM) or specialized Scaling Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe SM, LeSS, Nexus) are required.
  • Experience in participating in creating documentation and organizing internal training programs on Agile/Scrum.
  • Jira Proficiency: Expert in managing backlogs, sprints, velocity, and progress reports (including Burndown, Control Chart, and CFD).
  • Jira Customization: Capable of customizing workflows, setting up automation rules, and building filters/dashboards for risk detection and tracking.
  • Confluence Expertise: Skilled in using Confluence for team documentation, recording decisions, and capturing process improvements (e.g., retrospectives).
  • In-depth Coaching and Mentoring skills for individuals and other Scrum Masters.
  • Servant Leadership and Change Management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the departmental/organizational level.
