Job description

Strategic Leadership & Planning

Set the Vision: Define the overarching strategy, roadmap, and processes for all training sections, ensuring clear boundaries and no overlapping scopes.

Manage Resources: Own the hiring roadmap and headcount planning for the entire Training team to align with company goals.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Constantly refine how the training team operates, structures itself, and measures its success.

Team Management & Coaching

Develop Leaders: Coach and mentor Training Leads and Senior Training Specialists to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Empower Sections: Build, scale, and evaluate training teams, holding them accountable for results without micromanaging their methods.

Quality Control & Execution

Ensure Excellence: Establish strict quality standards for training content and delivery, performing spot-checks to maintain the bar.

Resolve Conflicts & Gaps: Identify and directly fix gaps in clarity or decision-making, acting as the ultimate tie-breaker when sections fail to align.

Track Impact: Monitor training effectiveness and report organizational capability gaps to senior leadership.

Your skills and experience

Experience & Background

Tenure: 10+ years of training experience, including at least 5 years managing a team.

Proven Track Record: Experience building or scaling a team or function from its early stages.

(Bonus) Ground-Up Experience: Setting up or completely restructuring a team from scratch, rather than just maintaining an existing one.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Strategic Delegation: Excellent judgment in knowing when to step in and when to empower leads to manage their own scope.

Cross-Functional Influence: Strong communication and decision-making abilities to align stakeholders across various teams.
