Job description

The QC Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Control team to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software products. This role acts as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, driving testing strategies, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and manage the QC team, ensuring effective task allocation and performance tracking.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases for projects.
• Ensure testing activities meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and define testing scope.
• Implement and continuously improve testing processes (manual and automation).
• Monitor and report on testing progress, analyze defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote the use of test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail) and integrate automation testing where applicable.
• Provide training and guidance to enhance team members’ skills and career growth.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands‑on experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Ability to design test cases, test plans, and analyze test results.
• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation and effective communication.
