Job description

Office location: Ho Chi Minh City (District 1) | Company HQ: Melbourne, Australia

Employment Type: Full-time

Your Role

You will be the bridge between the Australian customer success team and the Vietnam delivery team. Discovery and gap analysis will be driven by the Australian team; your role is to take their outputs and turn them into clear specifications, plans, and deliverables for the Vietnam team.

You’ll coordinate sprints, track scope/schedule/quality, and drive releases with measurable outcomes. Primary stakeholders are internal teams (sales, solutions, and customer success in Australia; engineering and QA in Vietnam). This role is onsite in HCMC.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Business Analysis

  • Translate discovery and gap-analysis outputs from the Australian Customer Success team into a clear, prioritised backlog.
  • Refine and clarify requirements into actionable tasks for developers and testers.
  • Define user stories and testable acceptance criteria
  • Document user journeysdata flowsedge cases, and interface requirements.
  • Produce BA assets: detailed stories, wireframes/mockupsAPI/interface specs, and data-mapping rules, etc.
  • Collaborate with QA to build test plans and UAT scripts.
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs across scope, time, cost to protect delivery dates and outcomes.
  • Prepare and run internal demos; capture feedback and update the backlog.

Project Management

  • Build and maintain delivery plans, sprint goals and resources to deliver on time.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies and weekly syncs across Australia and Vietnam.
  • Track scope, schedule, budget and quality; publish concise status reports with next actions.
  • Coordinate releases (cutover/rollback plans, release notes and stakeholder communications).
  • Drive continuous improvement in ceremonies, metrics and throughput.

Your skills and experience

What You’ll Bring (Must-have)

  • EnglishUpper‑intermediate or better; comfortable with business English; strong written specs and status updates. The role requires actively attending English‑speaking meetings with the Australian team to discuss business requirements, gap analysis and related topics. (Focus is on internal stakeholder communication.)
  • 5+ years in Product Owner / Business Analyst roles delivering business operation systems and workflow-heavy B2B SaaS products.
  • Solid BA craft: user story writing, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with both agile and waterfall delivery approaches: backlog management, sprint planning, release coordination as well as traditional planning, documentation and phased delivery
  • Comfortable with technical detail: REST APIs, payloads, data mapping, SQL basics, environments and error-handling patterns.
  • Experience coordinating software projects and understanding of software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have

  • Domain exposure to ERP/wholesale/distribution/manufacturing, order-to-cash, pricing/invoicing and reporting.
  • Hands-on with design and wireframing tools (Miro / Figma / Balsamiq) and analytics/telemetry (KPIs, dashboards).
  • Incident management, experience supporting UAT and Go-live.

Success in 3–6 Months Looks Like

  • A well-groomed backlog with unambiguous acceptance criteria.
  • Deep understanding of the TOM products and their functionalities off by heart.
  • Well‑explained, clear BA documentation produced for both business users and the technical team to read, understand and use
  • Successfully acted as a strong bridge between Australian customer success team and Vietnam technical development team, enabling them to work together as a well‑oiled machine to deliver outcomes for clients.
  • Stakeholders rate communication and predictability highly.
  • Reduced rework/defects through tighter specs and UAT readiness.
