Job description

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Implementation & Deployment
  • Design, test, and deploy network security solutions including Web Proxy, VPN, and SASE platforms.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and readiness assessments for new features and tools.
  • Align feature evaluations with market trends and business needs.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Consultancy
  • Act as SME for network security technologies, providing technical consultancy to internal teams.
  • Support integration and optimization of security controls across environments.
• Security Tooling & Automation
  • Enhance existing security tooling and evaluate new capabilities.
  • Automate security processes and workflows using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Change Management Participation
  • Provide detailed execution instructions and conduct walk-throughs with operations teams.
• Incident Handling
  • Provide L4 support for security-related issues or incidents as needed.
• Security Standards & Governance
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).

Your skills and experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, etc.).
• Experience with Web Proxy, VPN, or SASE technologies.
• Familiarity with products such as Zscaler and Palo Alto Networks is a plus.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP) are advantageousBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
