Job description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Mid-Level AI Engineer to join our AI Assistant Platform team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI systems that power next-generation intelligent features, autonomous agent services, and AI co-working capabilities.

You will work alongside platform engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects to transform cutting-edge AI systems into scalable, reliable production services and deeply integrated into our core applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Deploy Core AI Capabilities: Build scalable, production-ready services utilizing LLMs, Agentic workflows, RAG, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Implement Observability: Design and maintain monitoring and evaluation services to supervise production models, ensuring system reliability, performance, and uptime.
• Backend Integration: Partner closely with platform and backend engineers to seamlessly integrate AI features and agentic workflows into the core AI Assistant platform.
• Optimize Infrastructure: Scale and optimize Agent infrastructure across distributed cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support high-throughput, low-latency inference.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of AI services, bridging the gap between initial experimentation and robust production environments (LLMOps/MLOps).
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security protocols, data privacy measures, and performance best practices across all AI applications and data pipelines.

Your skills and experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or data science with a strong, demonstrable focus on production AI.
• Core AI Expertise: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG techniques, Prompt Engineering, and OCR pipelines.
• Backend development: 2+ years of Python experience, experience with FastAPI, Redis caching. Well understanding of database design and optimization.
• DevOps Fundamentals: Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agentic Systems: Direct experience building and orchestrating complex autonomous agents or Multi-Agent systems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• Advanced RAG: Practical experience working with Vector Databases and hybrid search optimization.
• High-Throughput Design: Experience designing systems to handle high Concurrent Users (CCU) and heavy traffic loads.
• Orchestration & Cloud: Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and cloud AI deployment tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure AI).

• End-to-End System Design: Experience working with full-lifecycle backend systems, including handling API gateways, custom routing, and real-time streaming responses.
