Position Overview
- We are looking for a seasoned Quality Control Engineer with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software excellence. In this role, you‘ll contribute to the stability and performance of our wide range of applications, including those in enterprise systems, AI, and 3D technologies. The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City, with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Manual
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand project requirements and ensure deliverables meet expected standards.
- Drive the shift-left approach by embedding quality practices early in the development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain Test Plan, Test Strategy documents for the release.
- Conduct thorough testing of API endpoints to validate system performance and reliability.
- Be flexible to adapt and learn new tools and tech-stack in short time.
- Promote quality assurance in your team by owning the testing process and making quality an important deliverable.
Auto
- Design and implement strategies to continuously improve testing frameworks and automation pipelines.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts for consistent quality assurance.
- Engage in code reviews and provide input on quality considerations.
For Senior Role
- Ability to mentor or guide peers in automation best practices and modern testing methodologies.
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and execution for complex features across multiple domains.
- Participate in QA Hiring and enablement.
Your skills and experience
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing (at least 3+ years in test automation)
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, RestAssured, or similar
- Solid test design based on best practices techniques (risk-based, boundary/value analysis, data-driven)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly with engineers and project stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Growth mindset – eager to learn new domains, technologies, and testing practices.
Academic Background
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
- Strong academic background (preferred, GPA 7.0+), kindly indicate your GPA in your CV.
Bonus skills
- Performance testing basics (e.g., k6/JMeter).
- Experience in security testing basics and shift-left security.
- Experience testing AI-driven functionalities.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps or cloud service platforms.
