Job description

• Participate in manual testing (functional, regression, and performance)
• Develop and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements. 
• Report and manage defects, collaborating with developers and team members. 
• Document and communicate test progress and results. 
• Assist in creating and executing test plans.

Your skills and experience

For Freshers:

● Basic understanding of manual testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Familiarity with test case management tools or a willingness to learn.
● Basic SQL knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
● Good command of English (written and spoken).
● Effective communication skills for discussing test progress and issues with the
team.
● Eagerness to learn and adapt in the field of Quality Control (QC).
● Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies or the ability to learn how to work in
Sprint cycles.
● Basic testing knowledge of Web and Application platforms.
● Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
● Familiarity with E-Commerce and Retail platforms is a bonus but not required.
● Interest in automation testing and scripting is an advantage but not required.
● Experience or interest in using AI tools like ChatGPT for practical tasks is a plus.
 

For Senior Level:

● In-depth understanding of manual testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Proficiency in test case management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
● Good knowledge of SQL for database testing and query optimization.
● Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
● Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical
teams.
● Analytical mindset for identifying, tracking, and solving complex bugs.
● Strong ability to work independently and lead testing initiatives.
● Extensive experience in Web and Application testing is essential.
● Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Sprint
cycles.
● Familiarity with E-Commerce and Retail platforms is a plus.
● Experience in automation testing and scripting is an advantage but not
mandatory.
● Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
● Experience with AI tools for testing purposes is a bonus.
