Job description

JOB PURPOSE/MISSION: 

Ingenico Android Competence Center is tasked with building and maintaining reference software for use across all regions. We are looking for a Senior QA with strong expertise in software testing and quality assurance for Android applications and libraries. The Senior QA will be responsible for contributing to manual test case management, communicating with related stakeholders, and ensuring application quality. He/She can lead a QA team on a project to ensure continuous testing during elaboration, as well as release testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work with Agile Project Lead to understand features and establish tests strategy (unit, integration) 
• Assess test effort and establish test plans 
• Build test cases, continuously improve test coverage 
• Coordinate with development group for continuous validation (unit tests) 
• Ability to understand automation test scripts and run automation test scripts 
• Work with QA Lead to define KPI for QA team, manage KPI and report to Direct Manager 
• Manage release identification and validation (CI) 
• Guide members on tools and processes 

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES/INDICATORS: 

• Technical deliverables consistent with planned feature set 
• Achieve QA KPI, No regression 
• Workload estimates can be relied on for project planning

Your skills and experience

SKILLS/COMPETENCY SPECIFICATION 

Competency/Skill Requirements: 

• Excellent knowledge base of Quality Control & Quality Assurance 
• Good knowledge base of Project Management 
• Hand-on experience in testing mobile applications, especially Android apps 
• Be able to self-study & investigate technical issues in a certain period of time 
• High-level analytical skills 
• Critical & creative thinker 
• Be active & good at teamwork 
• Good at leadership (having team leading experience with team size 2~5 members is preferred) 
• Good at problem solving 
• Good communication skills 
• Knowledge of Payment domain is a plus 

Languages: 

• English communication 

Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience testing field
