The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer with strong fundamentals in web development and a hunger to learn. You’ll get hands-on experience building real-time, high-performance interfaces for global-scale applications.

This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage, venture-backed AI startup, work alongside senior engineers, and grow into a world-class frontend developer.

Core Responsibilities

• Contribute to building beautiful, responsive user interfaces with React and Next.js
• Implement real-time features (e.g., chat, dashboards) with guidance from senior engineers
• Assist in integrating frontend components with backend AI services
• Help create intuitive visualizations for complex AI-generated data
• Learn and apply best practices in state management and code quality
• Collaborate closely with experienced teammates in an agile environment

Interview Process

We want to get to know you and give you the chance to show your potential:

Round 1: Initial Technical Screen (45–60 mins)

• React and JavaScript fundamentals
• Small live coding exercise

Round 2: Take-home Project & Review (45–60 mins)

• Build a small feature or UI component at your own pace
• Discuss your approach with our senior engineers

Round 3: Final Leadership Conversation (45–60 mins)

• Chat with our founders about your growth path
• Culture and team fit discussion

We aim to complete the entire process within 2 weeks.

Your skills and experience

Required Experience

• Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+) and React
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend tools (Next.js is a plus)
• Basic understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Eagerness to learn about real-time systems (websockets, SSE, etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating in English (verbal and written)

Nice to Have (but you can learn on the job)

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)
• Exposure to real-time applications or interactive UIs
• Understanding of version control (Git) and agile workflows
