IT Project Manager (ERP, SAP, Oracle)

Job description

Vietnam Housewares is embarking on a major ERP transformation initiative to upgrade and optimize our Arito ERP system. This initiative aims to better support our Manufacturing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain functions.

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who combines strong project management capabilities with hands-on ERP experience. This role will play a critical part in driving the ERP upgrade from planning through execution and go-live.

You will work closely with the Head of IT, ERP Specialist, and cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery—from requirements gathering and process mapping to vendor coordination, testing, and user adoption.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role, ideal for someone who can effectively translate business needs into actionable IT solutions.

KEY RESONSIBILIES

1/ ERP Improvement

• Lead end-to-end project management of the Arito ERP upgrade initiative
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Production, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
• Map current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
• Plan and execute training for end users and support go-live activities

2/ Project Management & Governance

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies
• Produce clear IT documentation: system maps, process flows, SOPs, and handover materials)
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews
• Track action items and ensure accountability across teams

3/ IT and Operational Support

• Support the Head of IT in assessing current IT infrastructure and systems
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
• Contribute to the development of the IT Action Plan and roadmap

Your skills and experience

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management or ERP implementation/upgrade projects
• Hands-on experience with at least one ERP system (Arito, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent)
• Strong business process mapping and requirements documentation skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross functional business stakeholders
• Experience in managing external vendors and ensuring delivery against commitments
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP modules in Manufacturing (PP, production planning, BOM) or Finance (AP/AR, GL, costing) or Operations (inventory, production)
• Project management certification
• Experience in manufacturing or trading companies
• Exposure to IT infrastructure or system integration projects
