Job description
- Lead and develop the Platform Data & Analytics team, covering both Data Analysts for tech/product projects and Analytics Engineering for business data products.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to define metrics, analyze problems, measure impact, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Drive data analytics for tech initiatives such as pricing, matching, dispatching, fraud, customer/driver behavior, and platform performance.
- Build scalable analytics foundations, including trusted data models, certified dashboards, metric definitions, data dictionary, and reporting governance.
- Support business data platform initiatives across CRM, CEP, CDP, lead scoring, sales pipeline, customer segmentation, campaign performance, and finance reporting.
- Improve data quality, reduce ad hoc reporting chaos, and help the team move from one-off analysis/dashboard requests to reusable data products.
- Establish clear ownership, planning cadence, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment for all analytics and reporting work.
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Product, or related roles.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing data team members, with the ability to grow analysts into stronger domain owners.
- Strong SQL, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills; able to structure ambiguous business or product problems into clear analysis plans.
- Good understanding of product, business, and operational metrics, including funnel analysis, cohort analysis, segmentation, experiment measurement, and performance tracking.
- Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or similar.
- Experience building or maintaining dashboards, data models, metric definitions, reporting layers, or source-of-truth business reports.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Ability to balance business requests, data quality, technical debt, and team capacity while maintaining clear ownership and delivery standards.
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics engineering practices such as dbt, semantic layers, metric stores, data contracts, certified data models, or dashboard governance.
- Experience with CRM, CEP, or CDP systems such as HubSpot, Twenty CRM, CleverTap, Insider, Braze, Segment, or similar.
- Experience working with customer data, sales pipeline data, marketing campaign data, customer lifecycle analytics, or finance reporting.
- Familiarity with Airflow, DAGs, data pipelines, data freshness, data quality checks, and workflow monitoring.
- Experience supporting machine learning or scoring projects as an analytics partner, such as lead scoring, fraud scoring, risk scoring, or recommendation systems.
- Experience in pricing analytics, marketplace analytics, logistics, mobility, e-commerce, or on-demand platforms is a plus.
