Database Administrator (MySQL)

Job description

1. Responsible for complicated SQL query development, schema design and SQL performance tuning
2. Support data requests (Data maintenance,cleanup,transfer,...)
3. Database maintenance (Database backup/restore/migration)
4. Other tasks assigned when need. 

Your skills and experience

1. Bachelor degree in computer technology or related fields.

2. 3- 5 years of experience with MS SQL database  development

3.Excellent Transact SQL knowledge. 

--Table, Trigger and Index creation including understanding Normalized data structures.

--Transactions and their use, including Isolation levels.

--Stored Procedure and UDF creation.

--Performance Tuning with an understanding of Execution Plans.

--Knowledge of TempDb and Transaction Logs, and their purpose.

4. Good knowledge of Windows OS, familiar with batch scripts, such as Powershell

5. Good oral and written English communication skills.
