Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and creating innovative solutions to address business challenges.

Responsibilities:

Data Acquisition and Preparation:

• Identify and collect relevant data sources.
• Cleanse, validate, and preprocess data for analysis.
• Transform data into suitable formats for modeling.

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):

• Perform in-depth analysis to understand data patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Visualize data effectively to communicate findings.

Statistical Modeling:

• Develop and implement statistical models to solve business problems.
• Evaluate model performance and iterate on improvements.

Machine Learning:

• Build and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, and clustering.
• Experiment with different algorithms and techniques to optimize results.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

Your skills and experience

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
