I. Job Purpose & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Chief Product Officer (CPO) for our scaling startup, who will be a core member of the executive leadership team. The CPO is responsible for defining and executing the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with market needs and drive sustainable business growth. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative products, ensure a strong focus on customer success, and achieve product-market fit within the dynamic environment of a rapidly scaling startup.
II. Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Leadership & Executive Strategy:
- Partner with the CEO and C-level executives to align the product strategy with the overall company business goals and long-term vision.
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision, defining the strategic direction for the company’s Enterprise/B2B SaaS portfolio.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify macroeconomic opportunities, industrial trends, and potential threats.
- Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle across all portfolios, from initial concept ideation to market launch and continuous iteration.
- Lead, inspire, and scale the product organization—including product managers, UX/UI designers, and researchers—to ensure efficient product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team (CTO) to prioritize high-impact features and manage development timelines.
- Customer & Market Centricity:
- Deeply understand enterprise customer needs, compliance, and enterprise pain points through structured user research.
- Champion a customer-centric and value-driven approach to product development across the whole organization.
- Monitor and optimize macro product metrics to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and business value.
- Cross-functional Alignment:
- Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success departments to ensure seamless go-to-market (GTM) execution and consistent product messaging.
- Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and milestones effectively to Board members, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Governance:
- Leverage advanced data analytics and business intelligence to inform product decisions and measure commercial success.
- Establish and hold the team accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Organization Building & Mentorship:
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing product team, establishing a strong leadership pipeline.
- Foster a culture of innovation, high accountability, and continuous improvement within the product ecosystem.
Your skills and experience
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and proven capability in handling the challenges of rapid scale-up phases.
- Extensive proven experience in product management (typically 8+ years), with at least 3-5 years in a Senior Product Leadership role (Head of Product, Product Director, or CPO).
- Deep background and hands-on experience in Enterprise software, B2B/ B2B2C2E, or SaaS models.
- Proven track record of defining product strategies, managing multiple business domain, and successfully launching B2B products to the market.
- Deep customer empathy and the ability to systematically gather and analyze enterprise customer feedback.
- Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex commercial and technical metrics.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities to build, inspire, and motivate high-performing product teams.
