Job description

The Product Innovation & Strategy Manager is responsible for driving product innovation, strategic planning, and business growth initiatives for the company’s payment solutions ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, developing innovative payment products, services and aligning product strategy with company business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product strategy & innovation

• Define long-term strategic direction for SmartSME product
• Identify emerging opportunities in SME digital banking, embedded finance and AI driven lending.
• Build product positioning aligned with the group ecosystem strategy
• Drive continuous product enhancement and innovation initiatives. 

2. Ecosystem Development

• Design ecosystem integration strategies across lending products, insurance, CRM and third-party SME services.
• Identify ecosystem partnership opportunities.
• Drive merchant engagement and ecosystem stickiness initiatives

3. Research and Market intelligence 

• Conduct research on SME operational behaviors and pain points
• Benchmark global SME supper-app and digital banking models
• Analyze market trends, fintech innovations and regulatory changes

4. AI & data driven product innovation

Collaborate with data and AI teams/tools to develop alternative credit scoring, AI recommendation engines, approval prediction frameworks and merchant prioritization models.

5.  Strategic planning 

• Build business cases, strategy roadmaps and ecosystem proposals
• Translate complex product concepts into executive-level narratives
• Support strategic planning and transformation discussions

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Technology, Marketing, or related field. 
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Innovation, Business Strategy, or Fintech. 
• Experience in payment solutions, e-wallets, banking, fintech, or digital financial services preferred. 
• Proven track record in launching and managing digital products or strategic initiatives.
