Backend Developer (NestJS/ NodeJS/ PostgreSQL)

Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS and modern best practices.
• Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL to ensure scalability and performance.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following code review and CI/CD practices.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality features.
• Contribute ideas for improving processes, tools, and architecture.
   

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience working with NestJS (or strong experience with Node.js frameworks, type script,...).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (data modeling, queries, optimization).
• Solid understanding of API design and RESTful standards.
• Proficient with Git/GitLab or other source version control systems.
• Good reading comprehension in English (documentation, technical specs).
• Familiar with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with large-scale systems, especially online ordering or e-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS, server deployment, CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of caching (Redis), messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), or microservices architecture.
