ABOUT THE JOB

Ingenico Android Competence Center (ACC) is responsible for building and maintaining Android-based payment software used across multiple regions worldwide. 

We are looking for 2 QA Engineers (1 Auto, 1 Manual) to join our growing QA team in Hanoi. Whether your expertise is in Manual Testing, Test Automation, or both, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of Android and Web applications delivered to global customers.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, and QA professionals in an international Agile environment while contributing to product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze requirements and create test cases, test plans, and test data.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and release testing for Android/Web applications.
  • Report, track, and verify defects with development teams.
  • Collaborate with PMs, BAs, Developers, and global stakeholders.
  • Perform exploratory and end-to-end testing.
  • Support release validation and product quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers.

For Manual QA

  • Define test strategy and estimate testing effort.
  • Perform exploratory and end-to-end testing.
  • Track QA metrics and support release sign-off.

For Automation QA

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
  • Contribute to automation frameworks and reusable components.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze automation results and optimize automation effectiveness.

 

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
  • Experience testing Android and/or Web applications.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent English communication.

For Manual QA

  • Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and release testing.
  • Experience creating test plans and test strategies.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Automation knowledge is a plus.
  • Can lead the small team (3 -5 QA) is an advantage

For Automation QA

  • Hands-on experience with automation testing for Android and/or Web.
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, UI Automator2, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Robot Framework, Cypress, Katalon, Serenity, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Understanding of POM, BDD, TDD, and Data-Driven Testing.
  • CI/CD experience is a plus.
