What I liked:
The vibe here is relatively relaxed. There's really no office drama, and the devs are genuinely nice and always willing to help each other out.
They actually mean it when they talk about work-life balance. OT is pretty much non-existent, which is a huge plus. If there is a rare crunch time, it's paid and handled fairly.
Hybrid work is actually flexible, not just on paper. It's easy to step away for a bit to handle personal errands without anyone micromanaging you.
We use a modern tech stack, and management actually gives the team room to suggest new ideas instead of just forcing top-down decisions.
Most projects dont need overtime. The compensation is good if overtime happens
Suggestions for improvement:
The internal processes are moderate to me. If you're someone who needs super clear, step-by-step documentation for everything, you might get a bit frustrated.
Because things aren't heavily structured, syncing up with other teams (especially the Japan side) can take longer than it needs to. Adding just a little bit more structure to how tasks are handed off would save everyone some headaches.
