We are looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join our growing Quality Engineering team.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications. You will perform both manual and automated testing activities, contribute to quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle, and help drive a quality-first mindset across Agile teams.

You will have opportunities to work on enterprise-scale Banking and Insurance projects, utilizing modern testing tools, automation frameworks, API testing solutions, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing for web and mobile applications.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct API testing and validate system integrations.
• Support shift-left testing practices by participating early in requirement reviews and development activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Review solution documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, test data management, and testing standards.

Must Have

• 2-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong experience in manual testing, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation for web, mobile, or API testing.
• Experience with at least one automation tool or framework such as:
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Cypress
  • Katalon Studio
  • TestComplete
  • Or similar automation frameworks
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience using Jira and related collaboration/testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Groovy, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with Mobile Automation Testing.
• Experience maintaining or enhancing automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, qTest, or similar.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
• ISTQB or relevant testing certifications.
