Role summary 

Full-time Ops / Application Managed Services (AMS) Engineer who owns day-to-day platform operations, monitoring, stability, and reliability for the Quality Realty Marketplace (QRM) and the AI Native Marketplace Platform (ANMP). You keep production and staging environments healthy, secure, and cost-efficient while supporting the Vietnam testing team and escalating to the Tech Lead when needed.

Current engineering phase 

Our partners develop the main website and application. Vietnam owns all testing and Application Managed Services. Production runs on the live WordPress plugin with paying tenants; new services (FastAPI, Grok Voice, Next.js, Flutter) are being introduced via a strangler-fig approach on Google Cloud. Your focus is operational stability of both the current live system and the growing new stack.

About Quality Realty (QR) 

Quality Realty is an early-stage AI-native SaaS startup building the future of real estate transactions in the Netherlands. We are developing Quality Realty Marketplace (QRM) — a voice-first, multilingual platform that connects realtors, clients, and service vendors (painters, movers, stagers, energy auditors, etc.) throughout the entire home buying, selling, and rental process. At its core is the AI Native Marketplace Platform (ANMP) — a fully re-sellable, white-label, multi-tenant marketplace operating system. QR is the first vertical (Dutch real estate), designed from day one to power other local-service marketplaces worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, logging, alerting) and own operational dashboards.
• Own Sentry error tracking, Cloud Monitoring, and basic observability for the platform.
• Maintain staging and production environment health, parity, and readiness for testing and releases.
• Handle operational incidents, backups, basic scaling, and cost tracking/optimization.
• Create, maintain, and improve runbooks for common operational tasks and incidents.
• Support Freshdesk ticket triage for operational and technical issues; escalate to the Tech Lead when required.
• Ensure multi-tenant isolation and security controls remain intact in production.
• Work closely with the Tech Lead on architecture-level operational decisions and environment strategy.
• Support the QA team with stable test environments and data.
• Contribute to production readiness checklists for new features delivered by our partners.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Operations, or Application Managed Services roles.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, IAM, monitoring) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Practical experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Cloud Monitoring, Sentry, or similar).
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking basics, databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to write clear runbooks and document operational procedures.
• Good English for communication with the Tech Lead, CTO, and occasional coordination with our partners.
• Calm under pressure; able to triage and resolve or escalate incidents effectively.
• Comfortable working in a small team with high ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and row-level security / tenant isolation.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, WordPress, or containerised Python services.
• Exposure to cost management and FinOps practices on GCP.
• Basic scripting (Bash, Python) for automation of operational tasks.
• Experience supporting real-time or voice systems.
• Knowledge of GDPR-related operational controls (logging, access, retention).
