Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Application Development & Architecture (40%)
• Develop high-performance features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Maintain a scalable, "Clean Architecture" to ensure app stability and a premium user experience.
• GenAI Integration & Implementation (20%)
• Model Integration: Lead the implementation of Gemini Nano (on-device) and Claude/Gemini APIs to power intelligent mobile features.
• Feature Innovation: Build smart functionalities such as automated logistics routing assistants, intelligent customer support chat, or real-time document/image analysis within the app.
• Prompt Engineering: Optimize mobile-side prompts and context window management to ensure low-latency, high-accuracy AI responses.
• Code Quality & AI-Assisted Workflows (20%)
• AI Productivity: Leverage Claude and Gemini as pair-programming partners to accelerate unit testing, refactoring, and technical documentation.
• Maintain a stable CI/CD pipeline and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration (20%)
• Collaborate with Product and AI Research teams to identify use cases where GenAI can solve complex delivery/logistics challenges.
• Mentor the team on integrating LLMs effectively into the Android ecosystem.

Your skills and experience

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

• Core Android: Proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and the Android SDK.
• GenAI Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with Gemini API (Google AI Studio/Vertex AI) and Claude API (Anthropic).
• Understanding of on-device LLMs (Gemini Nano) and the trade-offs between local vs. cloud-based inference.
• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering and managing LLM token usage for mobile performance.
• Architecture: Deep knowledge of MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture.
• Tools: Experience using AI coding assistants to optimize the development lifecycle.

EXPERIENCE

• Seniority: At least 5 years in Android development.
• Proven AI Delivery: Demonstrated experience in deploying at least one production feature powered by an LLM (Gemini, Claude, or similar).
• Domain: Experience in the Logistics or E-commerce sector is a significant advantage.

SKILLS & ATTITUDES

• Technical Agility: Fast learner who can keep pace with the weekly updates in the Gemini and Claude ecosystems.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to determine which tasks are best suited for AI vs. traditional logic.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills to explain AI limitations and possibilities to non-technical stakeholders.
