Job description
1. Requirements and Test Design
- Analyze requirements, designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Identify ambiguity, risks, dependencies, edge cases, and negative scenarios early
- Design and review test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts
- Apply risk-based and shift-left testing to critical business journeys
- Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, defects, and releases
2. Automation Engineering
- Design and maintain scalable frameworks using Playwright with Python
- Automate web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, permissions, and approvals
- Build reusable components and effective test-data solutions
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Improve test stability, maintainability, reporting, and execution speed
- Eliminate flaky tests and automation bottlenecks
- Perform exploratory and manual testing where it provides greater value
3. Integration and Performance Quality
- Validate complex end-to-end workflows across multiple systems
- Execute API, integration, performance, load, scalability, and resilience testing
- Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Operations to validate non-functional requirements
- Ensure platform reliability for mission-critical global operations
4. AI-Driven Quality Engineering
- Apply AI to requirement analysis, test generation, test data, automation, defect analysis, and regression optimization
- Explore Agentic AI for intelligent test execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Ensure human review, traceability, security, and governance for AI-generated assets
- Measure AI impact through coverage, defect detection, productivity, and cycle-time improvements
5. Quality Reporting and Collaboration
- Monitor test execution, defects, automation health, and release risks
- Create clear dashboards and evidence-based quality reports
- Convert findings into concrete recommendations and improvement actions
- Support root-cause analysis and preventive measures
- Share automation best practices and mentor other QA Engineers
- Promote quality as a shared product responsibility
Your skills and experience
Must Have
- 7+ years in software testing or Quality Engineering, focused on automation
- Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Python
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, integrations, and workflows
- Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of test design, risk-based testing, test data, and defect management
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams
- Strong English communication and documentation skills
- High ownership, attention to detail, and product-oriented thinking
Strong Advantages
- Playwright with TypeScript
- OutSystems or other Low-Code/No-Code platforms
- Practical use of GenAI or Agentic AI in testing
- API automation and performance testing
- Security, accessibility, resilience, and production validation
- Workflow or process-automation platform experience
- Cloud, observability, and production-monitoring knowledge
- ISTQB or an equivalent testing certification
