Senior IT Officer (System Admin, Networking, Security)

Job description

Job Summary:

The Senior IT Officer is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's information technology systems. This includes managing software installations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that IT policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration and support:

Have knowledge and Administer servers, Networks, SAN storage and other IT systems. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Provide technical support to end-users, software issues. Respond to IT related inquiries and helpdesk tickets in a timely manner. Train staff on IT systems and procedures asneeded.

Security:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's networks and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and perform updates and patches as needed. Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

Data Management:

Have good skill to Manage and maintain databases (Oracle/ SQL..) on securities firm, ensuring dataintegrity and security. Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.

Project Management:

Have good knowledge base Trading software system and lead IT projects from planning to implementation on securities firm, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs and propose solutions. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption and have good communication and management skills with vendors

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and configurations. Prepare reports on IT performance, security incidents, and project status. Document IT processes and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Your skills and experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT administration, preferably in a senior role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA )
• Foreign Languages:
  + English fluent: TOEIC 650/IELTS 5.5 or higher
  + Chinese: HSK4 or higher (Priority conditions)

Expertise/ Kiến thức chuyên môn:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, systems administration, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
• Good understanding of Vietnam’s stock market.

Experience:

• Proven experience in IT administration, preferably in a senior role and securities industry.
• Have experience on develop and implementing Securities/Bond / derivatives trading system software) are a plus.
