Job description
About The Role
Katalon is looking for a highly hands-on, builder-minded Senior Manager, ITDX (Digital Transformation) to modernize how the company operates through technology, AI, automation, and scalable systems.
This is not a traditional IT administration or infrastructure-heavy role.
We are seeking a technology operator who combines systems thinking, engineering depth, and business pragmatism to improve enterprise productivity, employee experience, and operational scalability.
You will own Katalon’s internal technology ecosystem — workplace technologies, enterprise systems, automation, integrations, cloud operations, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives — with a strong mandate to eliminate friction, redesign inefficient workflows, and enable a fast-moving, high-performance organization.
The ideal candidate is deeply technical, highly proactive, commercially minded, and obsessed with solving problems rather than managing processes.
The Mission
Build an AI-first, scalable internal operating environment that enables Katalon to move faster, operate leaner, and work smarter.
You will identify operational bottlenecks, simplify complexity, automate repetitive work, modernize internal systems, and improve organizational productivity through practical, high-impact technology solutions.
Success in this role means creating a low-friction, highly efficient workplace where technology becomes a force multiplier for execution.
Core Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation & Technology Enablement
- Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives aligned with business priorities and operational scale.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies, manual workflows, and operational friction, then redesign and automate processes to improve speed, productivity, and decision-making.
- Champion AI-native ways of working and drive adoption of practical AI-enabled productivity tools across business functions.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to challenge inefficient workflows and implement scalable operating improvements.
- Act as a trusted internal technology advisor by translating business problems into practical, measurable solutions.
Enterprise Systems, Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Own and continuously improve enterprise systems, workplace platforms, and internal tooling ecosystem (e.g., HRIS, ITSM, productivity stack, collaboration platforms, workflow systems).
- Design and implement workflow automation, system integrations, and scalable operating mechanisms across departments.
- Improve reporting visibility, operational analytics, and system reliability through better architecture, integrations, and workflows.
- Reduce operational dependency on manual work through automation, scripting, APIs, AI tooling, or orchestration platforms.
AI, Productivity & Internal Platforms
- Drive company-wide AI enablement initiatives with a strong focus on productivity, efficiency, and quality of execution.
- Evaluate, experiment with, and operationalize emerging AI technologies and automation tools where practical business value exists.
- Continuously optimize workplace technology ecosystems including collaboration, knowledge management, ticketing, and productivity platforms.
- Build repeatable internal operating systems that improve speed, transparency, and execution quality.
Cloud Operations & Technical Enablement
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams to improve internal cloud-based systems and operational tooling.
- Maintain strong understanding of cloud operations, infrastructure dependencies, SaaS ecosystems, integrations, access management, and platform scalability.
- Drive scalable internal technical solutions with strong attention to reliability, usability, and business impact.
IT Operations & Vendor Management
- Ensure internal systems and workplace technologies operate with high responsiveness, reliability, and employee experience standards.
- Manage SaaS subscriptions, vendor relationships, licensing, and technology spend with a focus on operational effectiveness and ROI.
- Balance speed, scalability, cost-efficiency, and user experience when making technology decisions.
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years of experience across digital transformation, enterprise systems, platform operations, DevOps, software engineering, IT operations, or technology enablement within SaaS or technology-led environments.
- Strong hands-on experience leveraging AI tools extensively in day-to-day work to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
- Proven experience designing and implementing automation, integrations, APIs, scripting, workflow orchestration, or low-code/no-code solutions.
- Strong technical familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS, SaaS ecosystems, workplace technologies, and enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated track record of solving operational bottlenecks and independently driving measurable process improvements.
- Strong systems-thinking, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating in high-growth, product-led, international, or fast-moving environments.
- High ownership mindset with strong execution bias and ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud operations, or developer tooling.
- Experience building AI-native workflows or internal automation ecosystems.
- Experience in global SaaS or product companies with evidence of meaningful tenure and sustained impact.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Experience working across multicultural, high-performance organizations.
