Job description

Primary Objective:

• Responsible for application architecture and implementation of all technological layers, from DB to front-end, ensuring the responsiveness of the assigned company applications

Main Responsibilities:

• Involve in building the trading app and trading-related services as a software engineer to provide an evaluation of technical feasibility, develop high availability and low latency system architectures for trading runtime, provide connectivity with trading core and third-party services, and develop existing software systems

• Write technical documentation and operation guidelines to ensure the system’s stability

• Modernize, redesign and rewrite existing software systems to cloud-ready/cloud-native architecture

• Participate in system architecture designing, comparing, and selecting system technologies such as databases, frameworks, libraries

• Maintain existing codebases, including troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.

• Interfacing with customers directly to gather requirements, troubleshoot problems, provide training, etc.

• Balance a variety of concurrent projects

Your skills and experience

1. Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields from top universities.

2. Knowledge & Experiences

• 3+ years’ experience in related positions

• Detailed knowledge of distributed system development and extensive

• Have experience using DOTNET/ Golang/ NodeJS or JavaScript/ TypeScript as well as relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, and MySQL or non-relational databases such as MongoDB/ Cassandra/ Redis

• Hands-on experience with developing a microservices architecture, containerized applications, cloud-ready applications, and cross-browser frontends using CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS,…

• Proven hands-on experience with SECURE CODING techniques.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Hands-on experience with LINUX, especially using command line tools and writing SHELL scripts.

• Experienced in using common office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio) to effectively visualize, discuss, and present ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience in low-latency system architecture, concurrency processing, and core performance optimization principles.

• Proficient in C++/Rust programming, highly suitable for projects involving FIX/OMS, low-latency trading systems, and market data feeds.

• Hands-on experience with FIX engines (e.g., QuickFIX). In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol, covering operational mechanisms, message structures, processing logic, and session management (including loss detection, retransmission, and recovery).

• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/UDP) with the ability to optimize network latency and implement robust, highly available network recovery mechanisms.

3. Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Security Control Knowledge: The understanding of the various administrative, technical, and physical safeguards implemented to protect against security risks.

• Application Security Knowledge: The expertise in implementing security measures within software applications to prevent data or code from being compromised

• Software Design Knowledge is the expertise in planning and creating the technical specifications for a software application before coding begins.

• Software Testing Knowledge is the understanding of the methods and processes used to verify that a software application, such as a trading platform, is free of defects and meets all specified requirements.

4. Soft Skills

• Be able to work independently and in a team, take initiative and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment

• Ability to manage time efficiently, arrange priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
