Huenx AS is an AI-first consultancy and product company based in Norway. We deliver software and AI consulting services to clients across Norway and Europe, and we build our own AI-driven products. Our model brings together Norwegian business insight and senior Vietnamese engineering talent — small, highly skilled teams that work effectively with AI to deliver faster than larger organizations. 

As we expand in Vietnam, we are building a senior engineering team to work on both our internal products and international client projects. We are hiring several positions, on both full-time and hourly engagements.

The role

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You own features from idea to production — frontend and backend — and you use AI coding tools as a core part of how you work, not an afterthought. You work directly with our team and, at times, with our international clients, so clear English communication is essential. We move fast and adopt new tools constantly — we want people who are senior and still hungry to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features end-to-end across frontend (React) and backend (.NET / C#).
• Turn requirements into working, production-ready software with minimal hand-holding.
• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) as your default workflow to move fast without sacrificing quality.
• Integrate APIs, design and work with databases, and handle deployment on Azure.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a high bar for quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Communicate clearly and directly with the team and, where needed, with international clients.

Your skills and experience

• 5–10 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET (C#). Python is a plus.
• Strong frontend skills with React. Angular experience is a plus.
• Solid database design background (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
• Working knowledge of Azure.
• Experience with AI system integration is a plus.
• AI-first: proficient with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and able to use them to deliver real, production-grade work. This is a core requirement, not a bonus.
• English: professional working proficiency. You must be able to communicate comfortably and clearly with international clients in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work Norwegian business hours: 12:00–21:00 Norway time.
