Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js / NestJS /Next.js)

About the Role

FGS Software is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing modern web applications while collaborating with both Vietnamese and international clients, including Japanese companies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative software products and contribute to long-term projects.
 

Your skills and experience

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with:
  • Node.js
  • NestJS
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • Tailwindcss / Bootstrap CSS
  • MongoDB
• Strong understanding of software architecture, RESTful APIs, and backend development best practices.
• Solid experience with Git and GitHub Flow (Required).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Experience with deployment processes, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• High level of responsibility, honesty, and professionalism.

AI Productivity Skills (Required)

Candidates should be able to effectively utilize modern AI tools to improve development productivity and software quality, including:

• Claude AI
• GitHub Copilot
• Cursor IDE
• ChatGPT or similar AI-powered development tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior developers.
• Experience working with Japanese clients or Japanese software development projects.
• Ability to read and understand Japanese documentation.
• Japanese language skills are a strong advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Experience building SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, or product-based applications is preferred.
