Job description

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer to strengthen our Development Hub and collaborates with other group products and engineering teams - Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway 

No matter your exact job position, as a full stack developer at Next One Technology you will be part of a motivated team where it is the team's effort and result that makes a difference. We have a large customer base and many thousands of active users who expect our products to be the solid tools they need for their daily work - be it in the field somewhere with poor internet connection or in the office. 

Together with your team (developers, testers, product specialists/UX, scrum master, product owner) you will develop and maintain our products with high quality and solve the problems put before you. It can be small improvements identified by our customers or internal Customer Operations organization, or major initiatives part of our product roadmap. As a team you have daily meetings, refine your backlog, start and stop sprints and all the things you would expect from an Agile process. You learn from each other, share knowledge and skills, and work on improving your team process. We want you to grow both as a team member and as an individual with your technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Use a tech stack consisting of:
  • An Angular-based web app on the frontend
  • A backend hosted on Firebase using various Google Cloud Platform services
• Be passionate and skilled in both frontend and backend development.
• Work closely with Product Owners, other Developers and UX/UI Designers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Teams to embed DevOps practices in the Development lifecycle.
• Utilize Jira and GitLab for streamlined Project tracking, version control, and collaboration.
• Apply Agile Development Methodology to deliver iterative, high-quality software solutions.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer 
• At least 5 years of experience building web solutions, involving both frontend and backend development 
• Proficiency in HTML5, Typescript, CSS, and one or more frontend development frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Firebase/GCP) 
• Proficiency with Angular and RxJS 
• Experience developing and maintaining containerized Microservices.
• Strong familiarity with DevOps approaches and CI/CD processes.
• Experience using tools like Jira, GitLab, and GitHub.
• Proficiency in Agile Development Methodology and collaborative team environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
