Job description

Akila is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with ambition, creativity and a passion for sustainability and technology. Our team is involved in a wide variety of technologies, like digital twin, 3D engine like Unity development and cross platform development. This role will be critical for Akila’s development, as it represents on both Mobile and Web platform. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where speed, hard work and fresh thinking are critical to success.

• Responsible for the design and implementation of the front-end architecture, ensuring the maintainability and scalability of the code.
• Develop high-performance, responsive front-end applications using React or Vue frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement high-quality user interfaces.
• Write reusable, modular front-end code and ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
• Keep up with the latest front-end technologies and trends, and continuously propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance.

Your skills and experience

• At least 5 years of front-end development experience, proficient in React or Vue frameworks.
• Familiar with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, including CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS, or Stylus.
• Understand and practice modern front-end development best practices, including component-driven development, state management, routing, etc.
• Familiar with web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience using version control systems (such as Git).
• Good English communication skills

Plus Points:

• Experience with both React and Vue frameworks.
• Familiar with Node.js and back-end development.
• Experience in building large, complex front-end applications.
• Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
