Join MiTek's Global Cloud Operations Team

MiTek is looking for Senior DevOps Engineers (Cloud Azure) to support, optimize and expand our global Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps ecosystem.

This role is ideal for cloud professionals who are passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, cloud operations, DevOps best practices and enterprise-scale environments. Senior-level candidates will have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and lead cloud initiatives across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a cloud supporting point for the Cloud Engineer I and II team members. 
• Support Managed Services offered in Azure 
• Apply Azure subscription/tagging standards; uphold least privilege and access reviews 
• Assist in supporting our external customer AVD environment 
• Design and support Azure DevOps pipelines 
• Assist in managing our Azure DevOps environment 
• Implement and audit Azure DevOps security controls (secure variables, audit logs, service connections, environments) 
• Assist the Cloud Architecture team with the implementation of cloud-based solutions 
• Implement our TTO (Transition to Operations) process for new services 
• Enforce change control with ServiceNow and ADO release gates/approvals. 
• Meet patch SLAs and security baselines 
• Validate backup policies and perform restore tests; maintain DR playbooks. 
• Mentor Cloud Engineer I/II and create Work Instructions for common tasks 
• Hours: Would like person to have a 2-3-hour overlap with US timezone.

Your skills and experience

• 5 - 7+ years of relevant IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Systems Engineering experience 
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services; experience with AWS or GCP is also valuable 
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, or Automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, JSON, YAML, or similar technologies. 
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, or similar DevOps platforms 
• Experience writing or maintaining YAML pipelines, CI/CD workflows, deployment templates 
• Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows Server, Azure storage 
• Some familiarity with ServiceNow 
• Proficient in English 
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Certification is preferred 
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Certification is preferred
