Job description
Day-to-day activities
- Schedule ETL objects to ensure complete data availability, runtime and system performance
- Tracking ETL jobs status, find out root cause if error and fix it in time
- Handling issues related to data from local team and others departments
- Receive data requests from local team and others departments

- Work with different stakeholders across divisions to integrate data sources and map data between data warehouses and data marts
- Collaborate with business analysts, modelers & reporting specialists to implement & maintain data transformation successfully, including DQ and standards
- Define complex technical design/requirements for data marts projects
- Collect, analyze, design, support the project implementation according to the defined plan and solution.
- Collaborate with BUs to assess impact of changes on downstream with changing data mart design. Incorporate downstream needs in overall design
- Perform necessary tuning of database and ETL systems and objects to ensure timing and performance goals are met.
- Undertake other tasks assigned by Unit Head of Data Mart Management
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data management or related field
- At least 4 years’ experience working in Data mart/warehousing project, preferably working in Financial Services sector
- Experience in traditional data warehousing / ETL tools (DataStage, MS SSIS, ODI, Talend, Pentaho, ELK)
- Good understanding of ETL & DW processes.
- Proven experience with Python is a strong plus.
- Experience in receiving, analysing and consulting on business
- Experience in traditional RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL,MS SQL Server)
- Understanding of PL-SQL & UNIX scripting
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Interest in Cloud platforms such as: Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Platform
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development
- Experience in flowchart drawing tools (yEd Graph Editor, Oracle SQL Delevoper Data Modeler...)
