Job description

You will build and deliver a series of key Reporting suites that reflect the experience the Retail Business has as the consumer of Technology Services and Change. Support the Retail Technology team with the preparation of ad-hoc reporting and presentation artifacts, utilising a broad set of tooling including Cursor AI. You will have worked in a large enterprise level organisation with high volumes of transactional and customer data. A solid understanding of Technology Service Delivery metrics and Customer Service analysis would be beneficial.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce key weekly and monthly reporting suites that accurately present the performance of Technology services to the Retail Business and NAB’s Branch Network.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reporting packs that provide clear visibility of service performance, delivery outcomes, operational trends and emerging issues.
• Extract, transform, validate and analyse data from enterprise systems to ensure reporting outputs are accurate, complete, consistent and fit for business use.
• Translate business questions and stakeholder requirements into well-defined metrics, reporting logic and actionable insights that support decision making.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to investigate performance trends, data anomalies, service issues and opportunities for improvement across Retail Technology services.
• Automate and continuously improve recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort, improve timeliness and strengthen reporting reliability.
• Prepare presentation materials and executive-ready reporting artefacts that communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Retail Technology, service owners, delivery teams and data providers to understand reporting needs, resolve data issues and improve the usefulness of reporting outputs.
• Ensure all reporting and data handling activities are performed in line with relevant NAB data governance, privacy, security and risk requirements.
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

Your skills and experience

Must have

• At least 5 years experience in an Information Technology role & at least 2 years experience in a data analysis role
• Strong analytical capability — able to translate business requirements into well-defined, accurate metrics, with a disciplined approach to validating and sanity-checking results.
• Business Reporting – Competent in producing Executive and Business reporting in PowerPoint or equivalent tools
• Advanced SQL proficiency — demonstrated ability to write and optimise complex queries, including multi-table joins, window functions, common table expressions (CTEs), and aggregations.
• Business intelligence tooling — hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI (or equivalent platforms such as Tableau or Looker).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills — able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain well-documented work.
• Data quality awareness — sound understanding of common data integrity risks, including fan-out joins, deduplication, grain definition, and date-partition handling.
• Working knowledge of Python — competent in using Python (e.g. pandas) for ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with the use of AI tools, ideally Cursor AI
• Familiarity with dbt or a comparable transformation framework
• Exposure to cloud data services (AWS).
• Experience with distributed data processing (PySpark).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
