Senior Backend Developer (English)

Job description

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable Web applications.
• Drive DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.   
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Backend technologies, DevOps practices, and cloud computing trends

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Extensive experience (3+ years) in Backend development ( Java, PHP or .Net)
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and IaC is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) is a plus
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend development (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.   
• Proficiency in English (written and , at least TOEIC 700).

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS and/or Azure certifications.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with database administration and optimization.
• Japanese language proficiency (JLPT certification).
