Job description

We need someone who takes ownership of engineering standards — code reviews, architecture decisions, making sure the new processes we are building stick as the platform grows. Less about oversight, more about being the person who genuinely cares that we are doing things the right way.

Your skills and experience

Key skills:

• dbt and PostgreSQL
• Azure — ADF, containers, DevOps
• C# / .NET
• Strong English communication

MUST HAVE:

Data Engineering Fundamentals

• Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns
• Familiarity with ADF or similar orchestration tools
• SQL optimization and migration experience
• Bonus: dbt experience

Software Architecture

• .NET/C#
• Repository structuring and dependency management
• API design and microservices patterns
• Containerization basics (Docker, ACR)

NICE TO HAVE:

DevOps/CI-CD

• GitFlow or similar branching strategies
• Build/release pipeline design
• Environment management

Azure Platform Expertise

• Azure SQL, Functions, App Services, Storage, Key Vault
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards)
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or ARM templates)
• Networking (VNets, Private Endpoints) — your new private network setup
