About the Role :

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, working on Agency Revolution's Fuse marketing-automation platform — used by thousands of insurance agencies across the United States. 

The stack is multi-language (Node.js / TypeScript primary, Go, C# / .NET) on GKE/GCP, with active architectural migrations underway. We want someone who understands how and why things were built before changing them — and speaks up with evidence and alternatives when something isn't working. 

We are an AI-forward team. Engineers are expected to bring AI into every phase of the SDLC — planning, implementation, testing, code review, and documentation. This is part of how we work, not an afterthought.

What You'll Work 

• On Feature development across Node.js microservices, API routes, and Service Bus workers Active migrations — RethinkDB → MongoDB, C#/Go → Node.js, JSON schema → Zod schema Data layer integrity — authoring Zod schemas in the centralized Data API; all persistence flows through the typed client layer 
• Distributed system debugging — tracing across the API gateway, GCP Pub/Sub workers, and the Data API 
• Code review — upholding TypeScript standards, schema compliance, and architectural guardrails; building AI-enabled agents to assist 
• Documentation — keeping SSOT docs in sync with code; documentation drift is treated as a bug

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience 
• Deep experience with microservice architectures — service boundaries, event-driven patterns, distributed system tradeoffs 
• Strong Node.js / TypeScript — async/await, ES modules, typed schemas (Zod or equivalent) 
• Experience with pub-sub / message queue systems (GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) MongoDB — querying, indexing, schema design, live migration strategies
• Working knowledge of GKE / Kubernetes and GCP (or equivalent AWS/Azure) 
• Comfortable in a monorepo with shared libraries and cross-cutting concerns AI fluency across the SDLC — you actively use AI tools to write, review, test, and document; always looking for ways AI can eliminate toil and improve quality 
• Strong code review skills — architectural drift, security risks, pattern violations, not just syntax Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (GitHub Copilot or similar)

Strongly Preferred 

• Background in marketing-tech, CRM, or high-volume messaging (email, SMS, campaign automation) 
• Experience with KEDA-based autoscaling or similar worker scaling patterns 
• Familiarity with Ansible or infrastructure-as-code tooling React + TypeScript expertise building maintainable, tested UI features
