Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all testing activities to improve product quality, work closely with the team (developers, business analysis, etc.) to deliver the product success.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
• Address the test needs in a methodical, detail-oriented manner with the help of robust analytical skills and problem-solving capacity.
• Collaborate closely with clients, ensure effective communication, and proactively resolve issues arising during testing.
• Mentor and coach junior QA engineers to improve their testing skills.
• Report testing results to the Team Lead or Project Manager (PM).

📍 Working hours

• Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (lunch break: 12:00 – 13:30)
• Saturday: 08:30 – 12:00 (Work From Home)

Your skills and experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields.
• Middle: Minimum 2+ years of experience testing API, or Web, or Mobile applications.
• Senior: Minimum 4+ years of experience testing API, or Web, or Mobile applications.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and sharing best practices with other team members.
• Proven ability to work independently while also leading testing activities within the team.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Open, proactive, and willing to continuously learn and adapt.
• Familiar with the Agile development methodologies.

Good to have

• Extensive expertise in API testing, UI automation, and both web and mobile application frameworks
• Solid testing experiences (requirement analysis, test strategy, test approach, test plan, test techniques included black box, risk-based, exploratory, non-UI testing, etc.)
• Good coding skill in Typescript, Javascript và Python
• Experience in CI/CD (GitlabCI, Github Action, Git, JenKins, etc.), Jira Xray is a plus
• Able to decompose complex tasks, provide effective context, and apply chain-of-thought and multi-step prompting workflows
• Ability to collaborate with team members and share knowledge and testing best practices
