ABOUT THE POSITION 

We are looking for a QC Lead who will be responsible for leading the Quality Control team, establishing testing strategies and quality standards, and ensuring product quality across Web, Mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing, along with leadership and stakeholder management capabilities in Agile product development environments       

Responsibilities

• QC Leadership & Quality Management:
  • Build, optimize, and standardize QC processes, workflows, and testing strategies across projects. 
  • Develop Test Plans, estimations, testing schedules, and resource allocation based on team capacity and project priorities. 
  • Lead and mentor QC team members, support technical upskilling, and provide career development guidance. 
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC. 
  • Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and project risks to ensure timely delivery. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing efficiency, automation coverage, and quality assurance practices.
• Manual Testing:
  • Analyze business requirements, specifications, and user flows to identify potential gaps and risks early in the development cycle. 
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases using techniques such as: Equivalence Partitioning; Boundary Value Analysis; Decision Table Testing 
  • Perform Web, Mobile, and API testing. 
  • Conduct Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, and Exploratory Testing. 
  • Apply product mindset to evaluate user experience, usability, and overall product quality. 
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Automation Testing
  • Design and maintain scalable Automation Testing frameworks and test architecture. 
  • Select and implement suitable automation frameworks/tools such as: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium 
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API testing. 
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. 
  • Define automation strategies and prioritize suitable scenarios for automation (Regression, Smoke, Sanity tests).
• Performance Testing
  • Design and execute Performance Testing scenarios including: Load Testing; Stress Testing; Endurance Testing 
  • Analyze key performance metrics such as: Throughput; Response Time; Error Rate; CPU/RAM Utilization 
  • Use tools such as: JMeter, K6, Locust, Postman 
  • Work closely with Dev/DevOps teams to identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks across application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.

Your skills and experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance. 
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing. 
• 2–3 years of experience in Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter, K6, Postman, or similar. 
• Strong experience in testing Web, Mobile, and API applications. 
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Proficient in test case design techniques and defect management processes. 
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman. 
• Familiar with CI/CD integration and automation pipelines. 
• Good programming/scripting skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. 
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. 
• Leadership experience in managing or mentoring QC/QA team members is highly preferred.
