Job description
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Review product requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify test scenarios.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
- Conduct end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
- Validate complex business workflows, configurations, and data scenarios.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success teams to understand user needs and business processes.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
- Provide early feedback on requirements to prevent defects before development begins.
- Advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
Process Improvement
- Improve testing processes, documentation, and QA best practices.
- Help establish quality metrics and release readiness criteria.
- Contribute to building a culture of quality across the organization.
- Support investigation and reproduction of customer-reported issues.
Your skills and experience
Must Have
- 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Experience testing web-based applications.
- Experience creating test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
Nice-to-Have
- Experience testing SaaS products.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Experience with SQL and basic database validation.
- Exposure to test automation concepts and tools.
- Experience working with education technology products.
What success looks like
In your first 6 months, you will:
- Become a subject matter expert on key LittleLives workflows.
- Independently test and sign off product releases.
- Reduce production defects through comprehensive test coverage.
- Partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams to improve release quality.
- Help strengthen QA processes and standards across the organization
