Job description

Quality Assurance & Testing 

  • Review product requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify test scenarios.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
  • Validate complex business workflows, configurations, and data scenarios.

Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success teams to understand user needs and business processes.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
  • Provide early feedback on requirements to prevent defects before development begins.
  • Advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.

Process Improvement 

  • Improve testing processes, documentation, and QA best practices.
  • Help establish quality metrics and release readiness criteria.
  • Contribute to building a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Support investigation and reproduction of customer-reported issues.

Your skills and experience

Must Have

  • 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
  • Experience testing web-based applications.
  • Experience creating test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience testing SaaS products.
  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman.
  • Experience with SQL and basic database validation.
  • Exposure to test automation concepts and tools.
  • Experience working with education technology products.

What success looks like 

In your first 6 months, you will:

  • Become a subject matter expert on key LittleLives workflows.
  • Independently test and sign off product releases.
  • Reduce production defects through comprehensive test coverage.
  • Partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams to improve release quality.
  • Help strengthen QA processes and standards across the organization
