[Job Overview]

We are launching a new in-house HR Tech product — currently in the research and planning phase — designed to help companies attract top talent. We are looking for a talented engineer who can own the full product development cycle: from user research and market analysis, through product planning and system design, to implementation and release. You will inherit existing research documentation and work alongside AI tools to bring this new product to life.

Position: Middle / Senior Engineer (Individual Contributor)

Project: New in-house HR Tech product (currently in research & planning phase)

Location: Toa nha DALI, 24C Phan Dang Luu, Ho Chi Minh City

Engagement: Full-time

Language: English (working language) — Japanese is a significant advantage

[Your Responsibilities]

Research & Planning

• Inherit and evaluate prior product research and documentation conducted with AI assistance.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research in the HR Tech / recruitment domain, including AIO and SEO.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a Product Requirements Document (PRD) and determine feature priorities.
• Define KPIs and measurable success criteria for each development phase.

Design

• Design scalable system architecture: API design, DB schema, and frontend/backend structure.
• Plan and implement Technical SEO from day one: structured data (JobPosting schema), sitemap, crawl optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
• Design for AIO / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): structure content so it is accurately referenced by AI-driven search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, etc.).
• Document design decisions clearly so they can be understood and continued by AI tools and future team members.

Development

• Implement new product features across frontend and backend.
• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
• Write well-structured, efficient, and tested code (unit tests through E2E).
• Review and validate AI-generated code; identify and fix errors or security issues.
• Release, monitor, and maintain the application in production environments.
• Ensure applications are secure, performant, and up to date.

Your skills and experience

[Your Skills and Experience]

Technical (Required)

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Developer.
• Demonstrated experience owning a full product cycle — research through production deployment.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservice, JPA, REST API) or equivalent backend stack.
• Proficiency in one or more: JavaScript / TypeScript, ReactJS, NextJS, VueJS, Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Experience with system design, OOD (Object-Oriented Design), and TDD (Test-Driven Development).

AI Collaboration (Required)

• Hands-on experience using AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot — in real development workflows.
• Prompt engineering: ability to clearly and precisely direct AI for research, planning, design, and coding tasks.
• AI output evaluation: ability to critically validate, correct, and improve AI-generated content and code.
• Ability to read and build upon AI-assisted research documents and inherit context across sessions.

SEO & AIO (Required)

• Technical SEO: structured data (Schema.org JobPosting), Core Web Vitals optimization, sitemap/robots.txt, crawl management.
• AIO / GEO literacy: understanding of how LLMs reference web content and how to structure content for generative search.
• Measurement: proficiency with Google Search Console and GA4.

Soft Skills

• Self-directed: able to define ambiguous requirements and make progress independently.
• Strong communication skills — can explain technical decisions to non-engineers.
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and stakeholder alignment abilities.
• English: Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate level.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

[Nice to Have]

• Experience developing SaaS or B2B products.
• Knowledge of HR Tech, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), or recruitment media integrations.
• Experience with AI/ML features: matching, recommendation, or natural-language search.
• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, AWS, or other cloud/CI-CD infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Japanese (significant advantage) or Vietnamese.
• Experience with Maven / Gradle and Java build tooling.
