Python Backend Engineer (Django / Data Pipelines) – Build Something Big!

🔧 What You’ll Do

Build and improve our Django-based admin and APIs.

Create scalable data ingestion & cleaning pipelines for recipes, ingredients, and supplier pricelists.

Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, AWS.

Deploy and maintain distributed jobs with Celery and Ray.

Collaborate with an international team.

(Optional) Learn and contribute to ML features: NLP for ingredient parsing, OCR for pricelists, and distributed inference with Ray Serve.

🎯 Who We’re Looking For

Must Have:

3+ years Python backend development

Solid Django/Django REST Framework skills

Strong SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)

Experience with Docker/Linux deployments

Good English for team collaboration

Nice to Have:

Exposure to ML (PyTorch, HuggingFace, spaCy, scikit-learn)

Experience with Ray / distributed systems

OCR, NLP, or data pipeline experience

Your skills and experience

Must have:

• 3+ years python experience
• Experience with backend API’s
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases. Eg Mongo and Postgres
• Experience with Django

Might have:

• General knowledge in python libraries related to scraping, data processing.
• Machine learning experience. Experience with libraries like Scikit-Learn (or an interest to learn from other team members)
• Experience with Fast API
• Experience with pipelines
• Basic English communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Note: Successful candidates will work on-site in Ha Noi.
