Job description
Game Testing (Manual & Automation)
- Conduct manual testing for features, gameplay, and performance on each game build/version.
- Read and analyze Game Design Documents (GDD), fully understand gameplay logic and newly introduced features.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans/test cases for each development stage.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python or relevant tools.
- Ensure released products are free from critical defects in gameplay, logic, or functionality.
- Propose improvements to UX/UI, gameplay, or features to enhance player experience and product quality.
Competitive Game Analysis
- Play, analyze, and evaluate competing games in the market.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and feature optimization aligned with mobile game trends (casual, puzzle, hyper-casual).
QA Team Development (if applicable)
- Contribute to building standard QA processes within the team.
- Nice to have: Experience as QA Lead or mentoring/junior team support.
Your skills and experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Testing, or related fields.
- ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Professional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of mobile game testing, especially in casual, puzzle, or hyper-casual genres.
- Solid experience in manual testing; ability to analyze GDD and gameplay logic.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing: writing scripts in Python or using frameworks/tools (Appium, Selenium, Unity Test Tools…).
- Preferred: experience in building or improving automation testing frameworks for mobile games.
- Familiarity with Unity or other game engines is a plus.
- Strong awareness of mobile game market trends.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in game QA, with proven track record in both manual and automation testing.
- Successfully tested and released at least 2–3 game products to the market.
- Nice to have: Experience in leading QA teams or managing testing projects.

- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork across functions (Designer, Developer, Artist).
- Highly proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Fast learner, willing to research and adopt new technologies.
- Passionate about gaming, open-minded, and receptive to feedback.
