Job description

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks for web applications and backend services.
• Ensure quality standards and testing best practices are consistently enforced across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and execute automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Extend and improve existing QC automation frameworks to support new services and product features.
• Drive unit test framework adoption and improve automated test coverage across development teams.

Load & Performance Testing

• Design and implement load, stress, and performance testing strategies for scalable services and APIs.
• Build and maintain performance testing scripts using Artillery or equivalent tools.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system reliability and scalability.
• Provide testing reports, insights, and recommendations based on performance metrics.

AI-Driven Automation

• Explore and implement AI-assisted automation solutions using MCP and Claude agentic AI technologies.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and defect detection using AI-driven approaches.
• Support intelligent test generation, automation maintenance, and workflow optimization initiatives.

Collaboration & Quality Governance

• Coordinate closely with QC Lead on client site to align testing strategies, frameworks, and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, solution architects, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders to ensure testability and quality readiness.
• Participate in requirement reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint ceremonies.

CI/CD & Engineering Excellence

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure automated tests are stable, maintainable, and scalable for continuous delivery environments.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Your skills and experience

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Fluent English communication
• Senior-level experience in automation framework design and enterprise testing practices is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in test automation engineering for web and service-based applications.
• Playwright for UI automation testing
• Artillery for load and performance testing
• API automation testing
• CI/CD integration for automated testing
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks from scratch or extending enterprise-grade frameworks.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated test coverage strategies.
• Solid programming/scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or related languages.
• Experience with MCP and Claude agentic AI solutions for AI-assisted automation.
• Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with cloud-native or microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security testing and non-functional testing practices.
