Job description
Titan DMS is a comprehensive Dealer Management System (DMS) serving automotive dealerships across Australia, the Middle East, UK, Japan and Asia-Pacific. Built on a mature .NET technology stack, the product handles end-to-end dealership operations — vehicle sales, service workshops, parts inventory, accounting, and third-party OEM integrations.
Our Professional Services team delivers manufacturer integrations, API Gateway services, custom reporting, and emerging core features. We're looking for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join us and contribute across the full breadth of our delivery.
Stack you will work with:
Core
- C# / .NET Framework
API & Services
- ASP.NET Core Web API
- RESTful Services
- API Gateway patterns (routing, authentication, rate limiting)
Database
- Microsoft SQL Server
- T-SQL Stored Procedures
Integrations
- OEM Manufacturer APIs (Ford, BMW, Toyota, etc.)
Desktop
- Windows Forms (maintenance & modernisation)
DevOps
- Git
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD Pipelines
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain the desktop application — build and maintain WinForms screens and incrementally refactor toward modern patterns.
- Develop manufacturer and third-party integrations — map payloads and handle real-time and batch data exchange with OEM systems (Ford, BMW, Toyota, Jaguar/Land Rover, etc.).
- Write and optimise T-SQL stored procedures for data retrieval, reporting, and integration logging.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services — design endpoints, implement authentication (OAuth2/JWT), versioning, and request/response transformation.
- Implement observability — API logging, monitoring dashboards, and error tracing for integration health.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, estimation, and team workshops.
- Collaborate using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
Your skills and experience
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 4+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
- Experience with Windows Forms desktop applications.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core / Web API.
- Solid Microsoft SQL Server skills — writing and optimising T-SQL stored procedures.
- Understanding of API design principles — versioning, error handling, authentication (OAuth2/JWT).
- Experience with ASMX / WCF / SOAP web services.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack.
- Experience with Git source control and Jira issue tracking.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Experience with API Gateway patterns or platforms (Ocelot, YARP, Azure API Management).
- Exposure to AI/ML integration — calling LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, or vector search.
- Experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
- Knowledge of the automotive dealership domain (DMS, OEM integrations).
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) or event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to Python (for AI/ML scripting or data pipelines).
Personal Attributes
- Pragmatic - balances delivery speed with code quality.
- Curious - eager to learn new domains (automotive, AI, integration patterns).
- Collaborative - shares knowledge, supports teammates, participates in workshops and retrospectives.
- Ownership-driven - takes responsibility from development through to production support.
Why Join Us?
- Work on a mature product with real users and real impact across the automotive industry.
- Diverse project work - from manufacturer integrations and API Gateways to AI features and operational dashboards.
- Modernisation in progress - cloud services, containerisation, and AI integration.
- Collaborative engineering culture with experienced developers and clear career progression.
- Opportunity to grow across .NET, API design, integration architecture, and emerging AI technologies.
