We are seeking an experienced ITSM Development Engineer to join our dynamic team, ensuring that ITSM developments are processed simply and efficiently through automations and integrations of modern techniques in alignment with business growth framework.

 

Role Overview:

The Atlassian ITSM Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Service Management solutions within the Atlassian ecosystem. You will collaborate with ITSM, DevOps, and Development teams to streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Atlassian ITSM solutions, including JIRA Service Management, Confluence, Opsgenie, and related tools.
  • Customize workflows, automation, and configurations within the Atlassian suite to meet organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement solutions that support ITSM best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain the stability, performance, and scalability of Atlassian systems.
  • Develop custom scripts and integrations to enhance functionality and improve productivity.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support users with training, documentation, and issue resolution.

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with the Atlassian toolset, particularly JIRA Service Management, Confluence, and Opsgenie.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM principles and methodologies, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy) for automation and customization within the Atlassian suite.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integrations with other ITSM/ITOM tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Atlassian certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator).
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and relevant certifications.
