Job description

We are looking for a PHP Developer (Laravel) to join our development team and work according to Japanese development processes and quality standards.

You will participate in projects developed by our company, working on system development based on requirements and established processes provided by our Japanese team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend modules using PHP (Laravel).
• Develop and improve admin/management interfaces.
• Understand requirements provided by the Japanese team and support database and API design.
• Write clean, maintainable code while following coding conventions and project code review processes.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and basic system performance optimization.
• Support deployment and system monitoring after release.
• Communicate and report work progress with engineers and BrSEs from the Japanese team through English or Japanese, if applicable.
• Work closely with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks on schedule.
• The probation period will be 100% office-based.
• After the probation period, a hybrid work arrangement will be implemented (the specific time allocation will be agreed upon after the probation period).

Your skills and experience

• More than 1 years of PHP (Laravel) programming experience.
• Ability to use Laravel well to develop backend and management interfaces.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills through actual projects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a spirit of self-study and an open mind.
• Being able to communicate in English is even more advantageous if you understand Japanese
