JOB PURPOSE

1. Common (all levels)

• Analyze business requirements, identify scope of work, and develop Micro-services/API solutions.
• Design detailed technical specifications and API documentation.
• Support deployment to production and provide L3 support when needed.
• Review and accept design documents and source code from partners/vendors.
• Research and improve the Micro-service and API development framework/standards.

2. Middle-Level Developer (Grade 7)

• Focus on hands-on development of Micro-services/API using Java Spring Boot.
• Participate in system integration tasks under guidance of senior members.
• Assist in production issue resolution and incident reporting.

3. Senior Developer (Grade 8)

• Take ownership of system integration between core banking systems and external/internal platforms.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to other team members.
• Lead initiatives to improve performance, cost optimization, and security on AWS.
• Actively contribute to framework enhancements and best practices.

4. Expert Developer (Grade 9)

• Act as a technical authority in solution design and architecture.
• Ensure service quality, compliance with information security and enterprise architecture.
• Handle complex production issues escalated beyond other support levels.
• Lead system upgrades, modernization of core banking platforms.
• Provide guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring across the development team.

Your skills and experience

1. Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2. Experience & Expertise

• Middle: 3+ years of Java development (Spring/Spring Boot), Micro-services/API design, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Senior: 3–5 years of experience, plus AWS databases (RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache), cloud deployment (AWS), event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Expert: 5+ years of experience across multiple domains (Core, Card, Lending, Payment), advanced AWS/cloud architecture expertise, proven experience in handling critical incidents and system upgrades.
• Note: Familiarity with other languages/frameworks (Kotlin/Scala, C#/.NET, Go, Node.js, Python) is a plus, especially for satellite systems and integration services.

3. Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail, logical thinking, teamwork.
• Communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• English: Reading & writing (mandatory for all levels); speaking & listening required for Senior/Expert.
• Training/mentorship skills (Senior and Expert).

4. Preferred

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer).
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services.
• Agile/Scrum working experience.
