GenAI Lead (Python, Machine Learning)

Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on GenAI Lead who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll mostly roll up your sleeves to build and deploy AI Agents that solve Vietnamese-specific itches.

This isn’t a role for bosses who just delegate—but for builders, problem-solvers, and inventors ready to push Viet-tech boundaries and ship impactful AI solutions fast.

So, hop on the band wagon to:

• Ship Fast, Pivot Faster – Drive rapid prototyping, A/B testing within lightspeed deployment cycles.
• Own the AI Strategy – Do the whiteboard, chart the roadmap, plan the resources
• Be Watchful – Involved deep into the code, model development, and product integration.
• Set the Bar – Maintain exceptional technical standards and ensure best practices in AI product development.
• Scale the Team – Mentor a nimble team of misfits and outcasts to compete with other teams of outcasts and misfits.
• Be Mentally Tough Enough to Shine – Elon-ish attitude towards bloats and inefficiency.

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong foundation in algorithms, deep learning, and data- driven systems.
• 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
• Strong understanding of deploying AI systems (MLOps, cloud infrastructure, APIs).
• Problem-solver mindset: You find solutions, not excuses.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership of your domain.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Experience with GPT-based language models or similar LLMs.
• A track record of deploying AI products at scale.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and AI ethics.
